a bit about me

I've been working as a user experience designer and creative - starting my career with a focus on experiential advertising, physical installations and events with digital extensions for The New York Times advertising division. Later, I had a closer focus on digital content production for adidas Originals global ecom. Now I am a lead within the immersive experiences branch of North Kingdom with a focus on gaming and UX.

My colleagues describe my approach leading projects as passionate, engaged, and collaborative. My leadership approach is rooted in team health, building confidence and safety within my teams across disciplines. I thrive as the glue between strategy, creative, and technical craft teams of designers, 3D artists, and developers.

my focus is

It is critical to take on the responsibility to provide experiences, communication, and products that are safe for our users and consider the impact of digital experiences have on our mental health.

My role is to integrate safety-driven protocols into our early research and design thinking which considers how to make experiences and products which consider Responsible Design.

I believe creating framework of how our creative output is inclusive, safe, and follows up with users in their experience is a critical piece of how we will bring true value to our audience and have a positive impact in their lives.

As I design for projects in XR and immersive gaming experiences, it is especially critical we have the right tools when designing these spaces to ensure we are taking enough responsibility as creators, and give tools to our users. I believe taking this mentality to productions is the way to build long-term, healthy relationships with our users.

I have spoken about Immersive Experience design and corresponding impact on our mental health at SHE Conference in Norway, as well as global ecom and advertising offices. If you're interested to hear more or collaborate, please reach out!

I love getting illustration gigs even though its my *hobby* - I've done everything from film posters to mezcal bottles. If my style is for you, I'm happy to hear your project!
